First I flew to Finland to record vocals for a Finnish worship project with Petri Kosonen that I produced. He is one of the most sought after worship leaders in the region and this was the second album that we have worked on together.
From Finland I flew to Bordeaux, France where my wife and I got to visit our son who was studying there for a semester. We also hooked up with an old friend, Dan Luiten who is a worship pastor in a local church there. Dan is a very gifted song writer and an anointed worship leader.
I only got to be home for ten days in Colorado before flying to Jerusalem for the Empowered21 conference. The music at the conference was sponsored by Integrity Music and I was asked to be the music director and keyboard player for the event. My son Samu got to be a part of it as well filling in on guitar and vocals for some who had to leave early. The whole event was televised live to all corners of the world!
I got the privilege to be with some of the great worship leaders from around the world:
The band was a fantastic group of professionals:
Next was Finland where I got to do a reunion concert for the gospel choir Joy. We sang old black gospel songs together with hundreds of singers, the audience topped ten thousand. This was at an annual conference with attendance over 30,000!
